My driving license is already validated in another profile. What to do?
We ask for your understanding that a driver's license can only be validated in one user profile to prevent fraud. You now have two options:
- You can use the profile where your driving license is already validated.
- We can delete the validation in your other profile and transfer it to your desired profile. Please use our contact form to send us a corresponding request.
The validation of my driver's license did not work or takes some time. What is the reason for this?
For various reasons the validation of your driving license may be delayed, e.g.
- if your driver's license was issued less than a year ago
- if it is not a EU driver's license
- if not all data was transmitted correctly.
We will contact you in any case if there are difficulties with your driver's license validation. It helps here if you reassure yourself that
a) the upload of your driver's license via the app has been done correctly
b) you have not accidentally scanned your identity card.
c) all data was sufficiently recognized.
Why do I have to upload my driver's license again after 3 years?
By law, car sharing companies are obliged to ensure that their customers have a valid driver's license. Therefore we also have to check regularly in the REACH NOW app if you have a valid driver's license.
Car sharing works similar to a car rental. If you rent a car at a car rental company, you have to show your driver's license - every time you rent a car.
